About the Project

A family home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood.

We infused this original 1930s home with edited-yet-traditional furnishings, elegant touches and classical motifs. The design scheme was contrived to compliment architectural details, such as ribbon moulding and original hardwood floors. Focusing on a neutral foundation we paired natural woods with classic stripes, relaxed linens and rhythmic florals. In addition to furnishings, we brought in artwork, hand-picked fabrics and wallpapers, and added elements of vintage throughout. Some of our favorite pieces were the client’s family heirlooms.

The result is a captivating, coastal and graceful—an age-appropriate dwelling for a young + growing family.
