Our design direction for clients Samira Wiley & Lauren Morelli incorporates nods to the clients’ East Coast roots. We crafted a cosy color story rich in authenticity and duality. A traditional palette is juxtaposed with contemporary California pieces and elevated vintage finds. The designs honor the creative energy and playful spirit of its inhabitants.

Brentwood II

A moddish take on classic design for newly engaged couple Jenson Button & Brittny Ward. The clients’ brief involved reinventing the Cape Cod style home they had just purchased. We set about transforming the beach house milieu, imbuing the architecture with a sultry edge and rich, earthy palette.

Rue Magazine describes it as “Mrs. Robinson with a little bit of rock n’ roll.”

A family home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood. We infused this original 1930s home with edited-yet-traditional furnishings, elegant touches and classical motifs.

The design scheme was contrived to compliment architectural details, such as ribbon moulding and original hardwood floors. The result is a captivating, coastal and graceful—an age-appropriate dwelling for a young + growing family.

Franklin Hills

A charming abode replete with vintage finds and playful nods in this Franklin Hills bungalow. We crafted a visual narrative to compliment the interests of the inhabitants—a household of writers.

Venice Beach Office

Drawing upon the ocean views, we designed this beachfront industrial office space with our take on warm minimalism. Natural woods, rich leather and soothing blues pair with clean lines in an embrace of negative space for a boutique venture capital client.

Orienting the flow to allow for both private and public spaces within the small footprint, we devised a layout & ambiance convenient for hosting intimate gatherings as well as the business’ day-to-day.

Silver Lake

A comprehensive renovation with a design concept conceived to unify a previously disjointed mix of styles and eras. We moved walls, vaulted ceilings and reconfigured rooms.

The resulting spacial flow is well-suited to contemporary life, providing a foundation for our understated millwork selections + fresh finishes that enliven the formerly dreary structure.

A West Coast hideaway for a couple with an East Coast home-base. We designed this coastal classic with a thread of understated elegance weaving through this complete renovation steps from the sand.

Custom millwork pairs with warm brass, time-honored stone and hand-made tile and living finishes throughout.

Pasadena Mud Room

Our client hired us to take this hub of activity from boring to beautiful. Custom cabinetry and clever interior organization features were designed to maximize space, storage and functionality within a small footprint. We paired a Spanish star-and-cross mosaic with a hand painted tile border.

And of course, the furriest family member couldn’t be left out! We created an integrated food & water station for the family’s labradoodle, Cooper..
