About The Project

This project included a comprehensive renovation with a design concept conceived to unify a previously disjointed mix of styles and eras. Previously a hodge-podge of disjointed styles and unrelated eras, we worked hand-in-hand with the client to make the house a home. This entailed bringing the structure down to the studs, moving walls, raising ceilings, reconfiguring rooms and adding new windows throughout, creating a cohesive foundation for layering in furnishings.

The resulting spacial flow allows for a casual evening at home, morning coffee overlooking a sunny landscape, or a house full of guests with room to spare.

After brightening up a previously dreary structure, we focused on furnishings & decorations with an eye to vintage and a muted palette selected to compliment the clients cheerful and art collection. Turkish rugs blend seamlessly with contemporary pieces and post-modern icons. The resulting space is laid-back and livable.
